I think this review is one of the most wanted, having alot of questions and and tractions when I post it on Instagram.
I went with Shanice, and she was the one that recommended me the place!
We went on Friday, during lunch time at about 1 plus and it was quite packed. We managed to get a table indoor and the deco inside was pretty nice too!!
We looked through the brunch menu, from Friday to Sunday, from 12pm to 3pm.
There was quite a lot of choices, like antipasti, pasta and woodfired pizza.
We went for 1 pizza, 1 pasta and 1 side dish.
Dish 1: Burrata Woodfired Pizza
It was abit different as I expect it to be. My first time eating a burrata pizza was from Lino and there, the whole burrito was placed in the middle and you have to spread and cut the burrata to eat it together with the pizza. Let me show the pic!!
In Publico, the burrata is placed at each slices of the pizza. It make it more convenient to eat it but it is like in the middle, so you have to spread it too.
The pizza was also like thick crust pizza. You can see from Lino, that it is thin crust pizza. I prefer the thin slice pizza. The thick crust was abit too filling and too much dough and like doesn't seems to fit into the taste of the burrata, like you want the cheese taste but here, you get more of the dough taste inside.
The rest was pretty normal, like the arugula and also the tomato sauce.

Dish 2: Crab “Mamma Rosa” Rigatoni
I think the best dish got to be the crab rigatoni! The crab meat was really alot, and it was really fresh. Even though the pasta was cooked in like a tomato based sauce, you can still taste the freshness of the crabmeat, like the sweetness!
The pasta was also cooked very nicely, like what you would called it al dente. There is still chewiness but also not very hard.
I really like the dish alot and the portion is really huge! The pasta absorb the taste of the sauce very well and also like the crabmeat, so like every mouthful you take, it is just nice, and will not be too much and too jelak!

Dish 3: Truffle Fries
I think the fries are okay, pretty okay, pretty normal. It is the type of truffle fries, that are quite strong in flavours one! Like if you enjoy the strong smelling truffle fries, this would be good for you!!

I think overall, the place it nice, and the food is good, and not bad. I think should come here once and try the pasta and also for the ambience, I love it!
We spend about $110 for 3 dishes and also 2 drinks!
